What does "w/o Ring" mean on this strap?
It means the working end of the strap has no separate metal ring or grab fitting — the webbing itself loops back through a fitting to form the cinch point. This keeps the connection lower-profile than a ringed lasso strap, which some operators prefer in tight wheel wells.
How is a lasso strap different from an axle strap?
An axle strap uses a dedicated end fitting (D-ring, delta ring, or grab plate) designed to contact the axle or a structural suspension point. A lasso strap forms its loop directly from the webbing and is commonly routed around the tire or axle without a separate ring. Which is appropriate depends on the vehicle's wheel condition and the deck's anchor layout.

DiamondWeave™ is a webbing construction manufactured by RWC (Ribbon Webbing Corp) using a patented process (U.S. Patent 8,136,555) designed to distribute abrasion stress evenly across the webbing face rather than concentrating wear at one contact point. The webbing is manufactured in the USA. DiamondWeave™ is RWC's trademark and patent, not GO-TOW's — GO-TOW uses this webbing in select straps and identifies it by name, but does not manufacture it or hold rights to it.
Because the construction is built for high-abrasion use (RWC's stated applications include fall protection, military tactical gear, tie-downs, and slings), it's a reasonable choice for auto-hauling straps that see repeated contact against tires, wheels, and trailer rails.
