This 2-inch, 11-foot wheel strap uses the 3-point over-wheel method: the strap routes over the top of the tire and anchors at two additional points near the wheel base. A swivel J working hook and a swivel J idler hook sit at opposite ends, both designed to rotate into alignment with the anchor point as tension is applied.

What's the difference between the working hook and the idler hook?
The working hook is the end that engages the ratchet or tensioning hardware; the idler hook is the fixed anchor end. Both are swivel J style on this strap, designed to rotate into alignment as tension is applied.
