8-Point DiamondWeave™ 14 Ft Strap Kit for Rollback & Flatbed Tie-Downs with 12" Chain Tail
The same 4-strap, 8-point DiamondWeave™ kit as our Twisted Snap Hook version, built instead with a 12-inch chain tail ahead of the hook on each strap. The chain segment is designed to extend reach into recessed anchor points, wheel wells, or frame rail slots that a strap-only hook may not reach as cleanly.
Chain tails are also commonly preferred where the strap end routes near a heat or abrasion source, since the chain segment sits at the point of highest wear.

Commonly specified when the deck's anchor points are recessed or when extra reach is needed beyond a strap-only hook.
Why add a chain tail instead of using the strap's hook directly?
A chain tail is designed to extend the strap's reach into a recessed anchor point, wheel well, or frame rail slot, and to place a more abrasion- and heat-resistant segment at the point of highest wear near the vehicle's frame.
Is the chain tail replaceable separately from the strap webbing?
Consult manufacturer documentation before repairing or modifying any chain-and-webbing assembly. Inspect the full assembly — webbing, chain, and hook — before each use and remove it from service if any component shows damage.
How does this compare to the 18 Ft Chain Tail kit?
Both use the same chain-tail hook configuration; the difference is strap length — 14 Ft here versus 18 Ft on the longer kit, which is sized for larger vehicles or decks needing additional reach.
