1" x 20 Ft Ratchet Strap w/ Wire Hooks & D-Rings
This 1" x 20 ft ratchet strap puts a wire hook and a D-ring on each end, so it works two ways: hook the wire hook straight to an anchor point, or wrap the strap around the object or tie-down point and run that same wire hook back through the D-ring. The second method cinches the loop tight as you ratchet it down — the same self-tightening principle as a lasso strap.
The webbing is polyester, woven in the USA, with low stretch and a high strength-to-weight ratio. Loose ends are heat seared so they will not fray, and the wire hooks and D-rings are shaped to reduce webbing wear at the hardware.

How do the wire hook and D-ring work together?

Should I use edge protection with this strap?
Yes. Use a corner protector wherever the strap crosses a sharp or abrasive edge on the cargo; edge protection should resist abrasion, cutting and crushing.
