2" Short Wide Handle Double-Lock Ratchet — Big Grip | 3,333 lb. WLL | 2RSWL
The 2RSWL combines a double-locking handle mechanism with a one-piece "Big Grip" extruded aluminum handle designed for controlled operation with or without gloves. The double-locking feature adds a secondary handle-retention latch beyond the standard pawl, designed to keep the handle in the closed position during transport. The thicker side plate construction provides additional durability compared to standard ratchet build.
The yellow dichromate zinc coating provides rust inhibiting protection on the ratchet body and hardware — important for equipment stored in open deck conditions or exposed to weather between uses.

Designed for use with compatible 2-inch webbing straps in auto-transport and towing applications. Confirm webbing width compatibility and component ratings before use.
What strap width does this ratchet accept?
The 2RSWL is designed for 2-inch webbing. Confirm that the webbing slot dimensions match your strap's webbing width and that all components in the complete assembly are compatible before use.
What does "double-locking" mean on this model?
Double-locking refers to a secondary latch that holds the ratchet handle in the closed position in addition to the standard pawl that maintains strap tension. This is designed to reduce the likelihood of the handle opening from vibration or accidental contact during transport. Engage the secondary lock after setting tension and confirm it is seated before each haul.
What's the difference between the 2RSWL and the 2HDSWR?
The 2RSWL (3,333 lb. WLL) features a one-piece Big Grip aluminum handle and yellow zinc dichromate finish. The 2HDSWR (4,400 lb. WLL) features a rubber ergonomic grip and is rated to a higher Working Load Limit. Select based on your required WLL for the complete securement system and your handle preference. Confirm all components in the assembly are rated appropriately for the application.
How should I maintain the ratchet?
Keep the mechanism clear of dirt and debris that could interfere with pawl engagement or handle operation. Inspect before each use for cracks, distortion, corrosion, and missing or damaged components. Follow the manufacturer's service guidance for lubrication and inspection intervals. Remove from service any ratchet that does not function correctly or shows visible damage.
