2" 3-Ply Axle Straps with Delta Rings — 4 Pack | Length Options
Delta rings are triangular fittings with a floating pivot point designed to allow the strap to self-align as load shifts — a characteristic commonly preferred in long-haul transport applications where vibration and load movement are continuous. This 4-pack pairs delta ring end fittings with 3-ply premium PVC webbing for additional material at the axle contact zone.
Why 3-ply with delta rings? The 3-ply webbing construction adds material at the strap body where axle contact creates the highest abrasion demand. Paired with delta rings that self-align under shifting loads, this combination is designed for demanding multi-car transport and long-haul operations where both fitting behavior and webbing durability are prioritized.

Commonly used where over-wheel straps cannot be properly seated. Application suitability depends on the vehicle, available tie-down points, equipment ratings, and applicable requirements.
What's the difference between delta rings, D-rings, and grab plates (A-plates)?
Verify fitting type compatibility with your ratchet hooks and deck hardware before ordering. Confirm that the hardware geometry, track or hook dimensions, and rated capacity are compatible with all other components in your securement assembly.
How do I select the right axle-strap length?
Measure the intended routing path from your ratchet hook attachment point, around the approved tie-down location on the vehicle, and back to the hook. Allow enough length for correct routing and proper ratchet engagement without the webbing being pulled taut at the end fitting. When in doubt, size up — a strap that is slightly longer than needed routes more cleanly than one that is too short. We carry five lengths from 20" to 48" to accommodate different axle geometries and deck configurations.
What should I inspect before using an axle strap?
Before each use, inspect webbing for cuts, fraying, abrasion, chemical or heat damage, and missing or unreadable identification labels. Check end fittings for distortion, cracks, or corrosion. Inspect stitching for damage or separation. Remove any strap from service that shows damage or whose label cannot be read, and replace it according to the manufacturer's guidance.
What's the difference between 2-ply and 3-ply axle straps?
Both constructions are designed for axle-contact applications. The difference is the number of webbing layers at the strap body. A 3-ply strap adds material at the zone that flexes over the metal contact point. Sleeved (2-ply) variants protect the webbing with a full-length sleeve rather than additional ply construction. Select based on your preferred protection method and fleet replacement schedule.
