Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between a weld-on and a bolt-on D-ring?
A weld-on D-ring is welded directly to a flat steel deck or frame member for a permanent connection with no moving parts. A bolt-on D-ring mounts through a bracket with hardware, so it can be repositioned or removed without cutting or welding.
What does Working Load Limit (WLL) mean for a D-ring?
WLL is the maximum load the D-ring is rated to carry in normal tie-down service. It's set well below the ring's breaking strength as a built-in safety margin — never load a D-ring at or above its breaking strength.
