This steel corner protector is designed to keep straps and chains from cutting into cargo edges while spreading pressure across the contact surface. Steel is a common choice when a plastic protector is not the right fit for the load or the tie-down.

Can I use this with chain as well as straps?
It is designed to protect cargo edges from both straps and chains. Check that the chain or strap seats against the protector without sliding off the edge.
