The longer option in our chain-tail kit line: four 18-foot DiamondWeave™ straps with 12-inch chain tails, sized for larger vehicles, longer decks, or anchor points positioned farther from the load than a 14 Ft strap can reach.
Configuration and hardware match our 14 Ft Chain Tail kit — the added 4 feet of strap length is the difference, giving more routing flexibility on longer trucks, dually pickups, or decks with anchor rails set back from the wheel wells.

Measure the routing path on your deck from a typical anchor point to the vehicle's tie-down location, allowing enough slack for clean routing and full ratchet engagement without the strap being pulled taut at the end fitting. The 18 Ft kit is commonly chosen for larger vehicles, dually trucks, or decks with anchor rails set back from the wheel wells.
Does the extra length affect how the strap stores when not in use?
An 18 Ft strap is longer to coil or fold than a 14 Ft strap, which some operators account for in cab or deck storage. Beyond storage, the hardware and function match the 14 Ft Chain Tail kit.
