Checkpoint High Heat Loose Wheel Nut Indicators, 33mm, Orange
INCLUDED: Choose a pack of 10, 72 or 100 orange high heat Checkpoint loose wheel nut indicators. Select your pack size above.
A loose wheel nut indicator gives drivers and inspectors an instant visual check on wheel-end fasteners. If a lug nut moves, the indicator no longer points at its mate, and per TIA and TMC recommended practices the nut and stud should be inspected.
Key Features
- Nut size: 33mm hex nut
- Material: Plastic, orange
- High temperature: 329°F melt point, intended for applications with high heat at the wheel end, such as waste haul, municipal transit and severe stop-and-start service
- Overall length: 2-1/4"
- Point-to-point design: installed on each wheel nut with each pair pointing at each other, with twice the teeth for a secure fit
- Easy to install: slides on and stays on
Suggested use: Use all one color on a wheel. When a nut is tightened, replace its indicator with a different color so the recently tightened nut is easy to spot. For standard heat applications see the 33mm yellow and red indicators or all wheel nut indicators. Questions? Call 833.LIFT.TOW (833.543.8869).
